12kva electric gloves
Product Description
When working with electricity, your safety is non-negotiable. Our 12kV electrical insulating gloves provide a critical barrier between you and live electrical currents. They offer reliable protection, exceptional dexterity, and lasting durability for high-voltage environments.
Critical Protection: Understanding the 12kV Rating
These gloves are tested to withstand 12,000 Volts during factory quality control. However, the proof-test voltage differs from the working voltage. These Class 0 gloves are certified for use on systems up to 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. They serve as primary protection up to 1,000V and essential auxiliary protection near higher-voltage equipment.
Superior Material and Comfort for Extended Wear
Premium natural rubber latex combines protection with flexibility. The material offers excellent dielectric properties for reliable insulation. It follows the natural contour of your hand, reducing fatigue during long shifts. You maintain the grip and dexterity needed to handle tools safely. A smooth interior finish allows easy donning and doffing. The flared, ergonomic cuff fits comfortably over workwear.

Built to Last with Robust Features
Lengths from 360mm to 410mm protect hands and lower wrists. The rubber resists cutting, tearing, and abrasion from normal work activities. Many models resist acids, ozone, and extreme temperatures. Bright colors like red or yellow make them easy to spot on the jobsite.
How do I know if my gloves are safe to use today?
Inspect before each use. Look for cuts, punctures, abrasions, or ozone cracking. Perform the air test by rolling the cuff toward the palm, trapping air inside, and squeezing to check for leaks. Never use a glove that fails this test.
What is the difference between proof-test voltage and max use voltage?
The 12kV proof-test voltage is the factory test level. The maximum use voltage is the highest live system voltage you can safely work on. For Class 0 gloves, this is 1,000V AC.
Can I use these as my only protection on live circuits?
For AC voltages up to 1,000V, they serve as primary protection. Above 1,000V, they are auxiliary protection and must be worn with other insulated tools. Always wear leather protector gloves over rubber insulating gloves to shield against physical damage.
How often do they need re-testing?
Industry standards require electrical testing every six months. Send gloves to a certified testing laboratory for re-certification before legal and safe use after this period.

12kva electric gloves
How should I store and clean them?
Store in a cool, dry, dark place away from sunlight, ozone sources, and extreme temperatures. Avoid folding or placing heavy objects on top. Wash with mild soap and lukewarm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Dust with talcum powder to prevent rubber from sticking.
Trust our 12kV electrical insulating gloves as a vital piece of safety equipment for anyone facing the daily risks of electrical work.
