What Mounting Hardware is Included?

CRITICAL: This clamp is sold as the clamp assembly only. Screws, dowels, and Allen keys are NOT included. You must supply your own fasteners appropriate for your wall material.

The clamp accepts a standard screw through its mounting hole.

Is This Clamp Suitable for Safety Glass Applications?

Yes, but with limitations. This 8mm glass holder is suitable for non-structural applications such as partitions, splashbacks, and display screens.

For overhead glazing, balustrades, or any application where the glass is providing fall protection, you must use a certified point-fixing system or a specific balustrade shoe. This clamp is not certified for handrail or guardrail loading.

What is the Installation Procedure?

First, determine the exact location for the 8mm glass holder. For edge-holding applications, the clamp supports the glass along its perimeter.

Second, securely screw the lower part of the clamp to the wall using appropriate fixings. These are not supplied.

Third, place the rubber protector strip into the clamp slot. Insert the 8mm glass panel.

Finally, place the top part of the clamp over the glass and tighten the Allen screw. This action clamps the glass firmly between the rubber-protected jaws.
