Important Material Note:
While Pattex super glue is versatile, it is not suitable for use on certain materials. It will not bond effectively on Polyethylene, Polypropylene, or PTFE. It should also not be used on glazed, waxed, or oiled surfaces, very soft leather, or imitation leather, as the bond will likely be weak or fail.

Press the parts together immediately and hold them firmly for 10 to 80 seconds, depending on the materials being joined. After a firm bond is formed, allow the repair to cure fully for at least one hour before subjecting it to any significant load or stress.

What Are the Technical Specifications?

The technology is cyanoacrylate. The colour is clear and transparent. Viscosity is either liquid or gel. Application time is a few seconds.

Initial bond setting time is 10 to 80 seconds. Full cure time is 1 to 24 hours. Temperature resistance for the bonded joint is up to 82°C. Application temperature range is 10°C to 40°C.

The shelf life is best when stored cool and dry. The formula is solvent-free. Package sizes vary from small individual tubes to larger gel and liquid formats.

How Do You Store and Remove Pattex Super Glue?

Storage:
To keep your Pattex super glue fresh for as long as possible, store it upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Some recommend storing it in a refrigerator, but always allow it to return to room temperature before use.

Removal:
If Pattex super glue bonds your fingers together, do not pull them apart. Instead, soak the bonded area in warm, soapy water and gently massage or roll your fingers to peel the bond apart. You can also use cooking oil to help loosen the glue’s grip.
